I have a 8 year old manufactured home. I have noticed that I have ceiling cracks. I have had some light ones for years, but over the last year they have gotten significantly worse. I have a 1991 mobile home...28 X 70. The shingles are getting bad and I was thinking about putting new trusses/roofing/etc over the existing roof and changing the pitch. Anyone done this? Any tips? Well, a couple of months ago our water heater was replaced. Why is belly board necessary? My parents home is a site built post and beam home that was built in the 1950's and there is no belly board under it; it doesn't have any poly on the ground either.
